Washington -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Airwall Infra-Red Sauna Rooms due to a fire hazard.

The heating unit and fuse in the saunas can fail, resulting in a fire, CPSC said in a statement. Distributor Sauna By Airwall Inc. of Bellflower, Calif., has received four reports of fires resulting in property damage. No injuries have been reported.

A total of 225 saunas were sold from November 2006 through April 2008 for $600-$4,000, CPSC said.

The saunas involved in the recall are made of wood and include model numbers IC, I, IC II, IC III, IC IV and IC V.

Consumers were advised to disconnect the saunas from power source and contact the company for a refund.

Consumers can call Sauna By Airwall at 562-630-2283 for information.
