Manchester, Tenn.-- Attendees of this year's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn., are being treated to music from several genres, visitors say.
Dan Gibson, a 60-year-old grandfather from Kentucky, said younger festival attendees appear to be enjoying the wide-ranging lineup at the annual event, The Nashville Tennessean said Sunday.
"I like all kinds of music and these young people like all kinds," said Gibson, who stepped onstage for a karaoke performance at the festival. "They even liked my music."
Among the performers at this year's festival are country music star Willie Nelson and rapper Kanye West, along with rocks bands like Pearl Jam and Rilo Kiley.
Festival attendee Leslie Jones said such musical diversity, which also included the heavy metal group Metallica, would benefit those lucky enough to attend the four-day event.
"I like the diversity. It's all about hearing music that you might not have heard before," Jones said of the event that ends Sunday.
