Miami -- Jamie Moyer allowed two hits over eight innings Thursday, boosting the Philadelphia Phillies to a 3-0 blanking of Florida.
Moyer improved to 7-3 for the season and to 9-0 for his career against the Marlins.
Florida did not have a base runner until the fourth, when Jeremy Hermida drew a walk, and the Marlins' only hits off Moyer were a sixth-inning, infield single by pitcher Scott Olsen and a soft single by Cody Ross in the seventh.
Brad Lidge needed 20 pitches in the ninth to record his 18th save and help the Phillies avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of the Marlins.
The game was scoreless into the fifth, when Philadelphia produced runs on a wild pitch and a throwing error.
Olsen (4-3) took the loss, allowing two runs -- one earned -- on six hits in seven innings.
