Washington -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of "Sky Champion" remote controlled toy helicopters due to risk of fire.

The rechargeable battery in the helicopters can catch fire, posing a burn hazard, CPSC said in a statement.

No injuries have been reported, but two incidents of helicopters catching fire have been documented.

About 152,000 Chinese-made toy helicopters, imported by Tradewinds International Enterprises Inc. of San Francisco, were sold from June 2007 through November 2007 for about $20 each.

Consumers were advised to stop using the recalled helicopters and contact the company for a full refund.

Consumers can also call Tradewinds International at 888-583-4908 for more information.
