Remy Ma left at the altar in jail

New York -- Jailed rapper Remy Ma reportedly was left standing at the altar of a New York prison after her fiance attempted to sneak a handcuff key through security.

Correction officials told the New York Post the universal key was quickly confiscated and Remy Ma's betrothed, a rapper named Papoose, was ejected from the Riker's Island correctional facility.

The Post said Monday's wedding was canceled.

Remy Ma was to be sentenced Tuesday for felony assault. She faces up to 25 years in a state prison for shooting a former friend in the stomach during a dispute over money.
