Oldfield's designs have been worn by elite fashion models and celebrities such as Bianca Jagger, Jerry Hall and Catherine Zeta Jones.
He has designed black suits with white or off-white colored shirts -- with a choice of three ties -- for McDonald's managers, the Daily Mail reported Wednesday.
For hourly employees, Oldfield has designed a uniform of black and mocha shirts and caps to be worn with black pants, a black belt and an apron.
"I was delighted to be asked to redesign such an iconic and instantly recognizable uniform," Oldfield said.
Oldfield has designed for rank-and-file demographics before, having outfitted staff at Wembley Stadium in London.
"It's a mark of respect for our staff that an internationally renowned designer has created the uniform especially for them," McDonald's spokesman David Fairhurst said.
