UCLA's Love to announce plans Thursday

Los Angeles -- UCLA forward Kevin Love called a campus news conference for Thursday to announce his plans for next season.

The Los Angeles Times reported last week that Love and teammate Darren Collison would likely declare for the NBA draft and hire agents, meaning they could not return to UCLA next season.

Love averaged 17.5 points and 10.6 rebounds this season. He was named Pac-10 Conference Player of the Year.

UCLA reached the Final Four for the third consecutive year, but lost in the national semifinals to Memphis

Collegiate players have until April 27 to declare for the NBA draft.
