Michoacan, Mexico -- Lorena Ochoa ran away with the Corona Championship in Mexico Sunday, shooting a 4-under-par 69 to win by 11 shots.
Ochoa's victory, her 21st on the LPGA Tour, qualifies her for membership in the Hall of Fame, although she cannot be inducted until 2012 when she will have played 10 years on the tour.
"It was an amazing week. I did enjoy myself a lot," the Mexican star said. "I guess I can say I'm in the Hall of Fame now. I'll just have to wait a few more years to get in though. It was really special to be here in my home country."
The world No. 1 player has won three straight titles and four of her five events this year.
Ochoa finished at 25-under-par 267, coasting to victory over Song-Hee Kim, who had a final-found 72 for a total of 14-under 278.
