Rancho Mirage, Calif. -- Top-ranked Lorena Ochoa shot a 5-under-par 67 Sunday, winning the Kraft Nabisco Championship -- her second major title -- by five strokes.
Ochoa finished at 11-under-par 277. Annika Sorenstam and Suzann Pettersen each shot a 68 and shared second place at 282 in the first major of the season on the women's tour.
Ochoa's first major victory came at the Women's British Open last year.
"Both of (the major titles) are really sweet," Ochoa said. "It's a dream come true, hard to really put into words. It's just been a tremendous day."
The Mexican star now has 20 LPGA victories -- 17 of them in the past two years.
Sorenstam, who had her fifth top 10 finish of the season, became ill in the third round of the tournament and was treated with antibiotics.
"I wish I had one more round, although it seems like I would have needed two more to catch Lorena," Sorenstam said. "I'm happy with the way I played today and feeling a little better, so I can enjoy it, too."
