Laguna Beach, Calif. -- Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora may face child endangerment charges stemming from his arrest in Southern California for alleged drunken driving, police said.
Sambora had his 10-year-old daughter Ava, a second juvenile and a woman in his Hummer when he was arrested Tuesday night for allegedly driving under the influence, Laguna Beach, Calif., police sources told TMZ.com.
Sambora has not been charged with endangerment. However, the Laguna Beach Police Department is "actively investigating" in the incident.
The rock star reportedly was pulled over shortly before 11 p.m. after he was seen driving erratically. Sambora failed several field sobriety tests and was detained for DUI, police said.
He also is said to have chosen to take a blood test rather than a Breathalyzer test.
Laguna Beach Police Department Sgt. Jason Kravetz told TMZ.com, "At this point, there's no indication of drugs."
Sambora, who went to rehab twice last year, was released from police custody early Wednesday morning, the report said.
