Maison de Savoie-brand sausage recalledby MT Bureau - February 26, 2008 - 0 comments
Ottawa -- The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced the voluntary recall of Maison de Savoie-brand pure pork dry sausage (Sarment Courbe) due to a health hazard. The CFIA said the sausage, imported by Diffusion T.G.V. Inc. of Boisbriand, Quebec, Canada, might be contaminated with salmonella. The sausage was sold in the greater Montreal and Quebec areas in 250-gram packages bearing lot code "02 51 29" and a best before date of "13.04.08." Consumers with question can contact the company at 450-435-3503. Copyright 2008 by United Press International. Post new comment |
