Calgary, Alberta -- Daymond Langkow had a hat trick and the Calgary Flames broke out of a scoring slump in blasting Los Angeles 6-1.
The Flames had lost four in a row and scored just six goals during that stretch -- four of them in one game.
Calgary pelted Jason LaBarbera for five goals on 30 shots before he was replaced by Jean-Sebastien Aubin.
Langkow scored midway through the first period to give the Flames a 2-0 lead and then took a pass from Jarome Iginla and beat LaBarbera at 11:04 of the second.
The game's final goal came from Langkow on the power play 2:03 into the third, boosting his season total to 20.
