London -- British singer Amy Winehouse has reportedly been released on bail after she was arrested in London on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
Police would not confirm they arrested the troubled recording artist and let her go, saying only that the case involved a 24-year-old woman, CNN reported Wednesday.
However, Winehouse's representative Tracey Miller confirmed it was the recent multiple-Grammy nominee that was arrested.
"She was not charged and has since left the police station," Miller told CNN, adding that Winehouse voluntarily surrendered to police.
Winehouse's arrest was made by appointment Tuesday.
Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently in jail after he was also accused of perverting the course of justice, a charge that stemmed from an alleged assault on a bartender in June.
Fielder-Civil was charged with grievous bodily harm in connection with the assault.
