Anaheim, Calif. -- Ryan Getzlaf and Andy McDonald scored shootout goals Friday night, as the Anaheim Ducks rallied to a 3-2 victory over San Jose.
The Ducks twice fell behind by a goal, but emerged with their first win in three games.
San Jose's Jeremy Roenick had an assist, but he again failed to score the 500th goal of his career. He is trying to become the 40th NHL player to reach that milestone.
Roenick assisted on a goal by Torrey Mitchell that gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead after the first period. Getzlaf tied it 12:30 into the second period, but Joe Thornton put San Jose back in front with just 45 remaining in the stanza.
McDonald again tied it at 5:56 of the third, and then both of Anaheim's goal scorers came through in the shootout against Evgeni Nabokov.
Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 22 saves in regulation before stopping the only two shots he faced in the shootout.
