New York -- Jennifer Lopez returned to her native Bronx Thursday to attend the funeral of her maternal grandmother, Julia Rodriguez, the New York Daily News said.

Rodriguez died Saturday while Lopez was performing in Los Angeles.
Lopez, who is reportedly pregnant with husband Marc Anthony's baby, wore a loose-fitting black dress to the service at Holy Cross Church.
Lopez's mother, two aunts and cousins remembered Rodriguez as a remarkable woman and avid Mets fan.
The performer's mother, Guadalupe Lopez, said Rodriguez was a dedicated churchgoer who always put her family first, the Daily News report said.
"I love you," Guadalupe Lopez said, weeping. "You will always be in my heart."
More than 100 people turned out to pay their respects to the former seamstress, who inspired Lopez to open Madre's restaurant in Pasadena, Calif., to serve some of the family's favorite dishes, the News said.
