Toronto -- Matt Stajan had one goal and three assists Thursday night to help the Toronto Maple Leafs rout the New York Islanders, 8-1.

Toronto led, 2-1, after the first period, as goals by Nik Antropov and Ian White scored once each to counter a goal by Ruslan Fedotenko.

Toronto scored the game's final six goals to get the second victory in its last three games.

Mats Sundin's third-period goal gave him 390 career goals and 917 points, allowing him to pass Hall of Famer Darryl Sittler in both categories.

The Maple Leafs' Pavel Kubina and Darcy Tucker had two assists apiece, and goalie Andrew Raycroft allowed one goal on 31 New York shots.

Goaltender Wade Dubielewicz allowed eight goals on 42 shots, as the Islanders suffered the second loss in their last three games.

On the power play, Toronto went 2-for-8, while New York was 1-for-8.
