Some ice cream is recalled in Californiaby MT Bureau - September 25, 2007 - 0 comments
Washington -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream because of undeclared ingredients. Inter-American Products Inc., a division of The Kroger Co., said the recalled "Private Selection Classic Churned Light Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough" ice cream was distributed by Ralphs Food Stores and Food 4 Less stores in California. The FDA said the recalled ice cream might contain eggs, which aren't listed as an ingredient and pose a serious health threat to people allergic to eggs. Consumers with questions can contact Inter-American Products at 800-697-2448. -- Post new comment |
