New York -- Hollywood actress Kristin Davis has signed on to be the first international celebrity spokesperson for AHAVA's skin care line.
As part of this multi-year agreement, Davis, who is now reprising her role of Charlotte for the upcoming "Sex and the City: The Movie," will appear in AHAVA's global advertising campaign.
"Kristin Davis is an exceptional woman; she is talented, intelligent and radiates a joie de vivre," Yacov Ellis, chief executive officer of Dead Sea Laboratories, said in a statement. "This partnership establishes a new era for the brand."
"Kristin was the obvious choice for us," added Michael Etedgi, chief executive officer of AHAVA North America. "Her personal ideals, coupled with her professional successes, epitomize the AHAVA ideal of healthy, accessible beauty."
AHAVA was founded in the Dead Sea region of Israel and its products are now available in more than 30 countries.
"I'm honored to be a part of a beauty legend that dates back to Cleopatra," Davis said. "AHAVA is known for delivering the health benefits of the Dead Sea to people worldwide through effective, natural skin care products. My personal beliefs, which include treating both animals and the environment with respect, are equally important to AHAVA."
