New York -- Actor Evan Handler has signed on to reprise his role as Harry Goldenblatt in the upcoming "Sex and the City" film in New York.
Handler, 45, played the husband of Kristin Davis' character, Charlotte York, for three seasons on the HBO hit.
He told People magazine Saturday at the pre-Emmy BAFTA and TV Academy tea party in the Hollywood hills, "I'm looking forward to spending some weeks in New York. It should be fun."
The film will reunite Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Davis in the roles they played from 1998 to 2004 and is scheduled for a 2008 release.
"Harry doesn't feature that prominently," Handler conceded. "So, I mean, I'm there, but it's their story."
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson also is reportedly in talks to join the cast as an assistant to Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw.
