Heigl beats 'Grey's' co-stars for 1st Emmyby MT Bureau - September 17, 2007 - 0 comments
Los Angeles -- Katherine Heigl won the trophy for best supporting actress in a drama at the 59th annual Emmy Awards show in Los Angeles Sunday night. The actress beat out her "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson, as well as "The Sopranos" stars Lorraine Bracco and Aida Turturro, for the honor. "My own mother told me I didn't have a shot in hell of winning, so I don't have anything prepared," Heigl told the audience, adding with a laugh: "But she's a big supporter. She really does love me. ... This is my dream come true." -- Copyright 2007 by United Press International. Post new comment |
