The Bucs reached an injury settlement with Boston, who suffered ligament damage to his right foot last Sunday during pre-game warm-ups before the regular-season opener at Seattle, and did not play.
"We've moved on," General Manager Bruce Allen said Wednesday.

"It's very unfortunate, but he's going to be out for a while," Boston's agent, Mitch Frankel told the Tampa Tribune. "It's probably going to take him as long as seven weeks to heal."

The Bucs also released Boston prior to the start of the 2006 season.
The 11-year veteran has 25 touchdowns on 315 catches for 4,699 yards in 75 career games.

He was arrested Aug. 23 on a misdemeanor DUI charge by Pinellas Park, Fla., police.

The newspaper also reported Pinellas Park officials revealed Boston had high levels of the "date rape" drug GHB in his system when he was arrested.
