New York -- Former CNN newswoman Paula Zahn is suing her estranged husband in New York, claiming he mismanaged $25 million of her money.

In the lawsuit filed in Manhattan, Zahn asks the court to order Richard Cohen to give an accounting of her investments, the New York Daily News reports. She says for 20 years she gave Cohen total control of her finances.
"Were it not for the fact that Ms. Zahn and Mr. Cohen's marriage is ending, Mr. Cohen might never have been called to account for, among other things, the dubious investments he made with her money," Zahn's lawyers said in court papers.
Zahn and Cohen, founder of Capital Properties, married in 1987 while she was working at a Boston television station. Zahn, who went on to work for CBS and Fox News, resigned from CNN this summer.
In legal papers, Zahn said she ended her financial arrangement with Cohen in July.
