Los Angeles -- Hollywood actress and former "Veronica Mars" star Kristen Bell is set to appear on the NBC drama, "Heroes," next season, Variety.com said Monday.
The 27-year-old actress became available after the CW declined to renew her three-year-old, cult-favorite series due to low ratings.
Now she is expected to appear in a multi-episode arc on the second season of NBC's super-hero hit.
Starting in October, Bell will play a sexy, mysterious woman tied to the alleged death of Peter (played by Milo Ventimiglia) and future of Claire (Hayden Panettiere.) It is unclear whether her character will be a hero or a villain, Variety.com noted.
The "Heroes" gig wasn't the only offer of employment the sassy blonde actress has received.
In addition to nabbing starring roles in the upcoming big-screen comedies "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Fanboys," she also reportedly was courted for several TV projects, including a role on ABC's "Lost."
