Toronto -- A Canadian survey finds that women are far more clothes-conscious than men.

For example, when men were asked how many outfits they would need for a weekend away, just over half said they could get by with no more than two, while only 15 percent of women agreed. Sixty-seven percent of the women said they would pack three or four, matched by 44 percent of men.

The survey was conducted by Leger Marketing for the company that makes Aero chocolate bars.

Almost 40 percent of the women questioned said that owning five or more pairs of black shoes is OK, while only 15 percent of men agree.

Women are more likely to use a lot of different products on their hair and to enjoy hanging out among the shampoos, cosmetics and other personal care products.

Men pick up what they need and get out, with 11 percent saying that they never shop for personal care products.
