London -- A Welsh Elvis impersonator has set a world record for the number of tribute performances in a single day.

Andy Woodward spent the 30th anniversary of the death of the "King of Rock 'n' Roll" performing 30 tribute concerts at various sites around London Thursday, the Western Mail reported Friday.
The Swansea native underwent multiple costume changes and performed 70 Presley numbers, the newspaper said.
Woodward won the title of Best Welsh Elvis at this year's Porthcawl Elvis Festival in Wales.
