Los Angeles -- Actress Lindsay Lohan found herself in the midst of another traffic case -- this one in small-claims court over an alleged U-turn on a Los Angeles street.

In her claim filed Monday, Signe Dupuy claimed Lohan and her bodyguard, Jazman Bennett, made illegal U-turns in succession, cutting off Dupuy and causing her to collide with the back tire on Bennett's car, E! News reported Tuesday.

When Dupuy exited her car following the April crash, she alleged Lohan stopped and glared at her before driving away, and Bennett acted gave her a false name and number when she asked for license and insurance information.

Dupuy said she sent a letter to Lohan's representative to clear up the situation, but never heard anything. The representative said she received the letter, but assumed the actress' attorneys were handling the matter, E! News said.

Lohan's attorneys were not available for comment.

Dupuy seeks $7,500 in damages from Bennett and Lohan to compensate her for "damage, injury and pain and suffering."

Lohan, arrested and booked last week on driving- and drug-related charges, is scheduled to appear in small-claims court in September to answer to Dupuy's allegations.
