North Little Rock, Ark. -- The "American Idol" contestant who claimed he and judge Paula Abdul had an affair was arrested in Arkansas on drug-related charges, police said.
Corey Clark was arrested Monday in North Little Rock as he exited a vehicle that was reported to police as suspicious, The Morning News in Springdale, Ark., reported Monday. He was charged with possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police said they learned Clark had an outstanding warrants issued in Arizona, where he was arrested and charged earlier this year for harassment and interference with judicial proceedings.
Police said they contacted Arizona officials and agreed to hold Clark in North Little Rock while the extradition process is started.
Clark, born in California but living in Tennessee, was disqualified in the second season of "American Idol" after it was revealed he was arrested following a domestic dispute. Two years after being cut, Clark claimed he and Abdul had an affair during the time he was a contestant.
