Hollywood -- Some of Hollywood's most popular movies -- from "Legally Blonde" to "Moulin Rouge" will go pink this fall to raise money for breast cancer awareness
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and MGM Home Entertainment will partner with Susan G. Komen for the Cure on a multi-title "DVDs For The Cure" promotion to raise breast cancer awareness, pledging a minimum $250,000 donation, the studios said in a news release.
The two studios said they will donate 50 cents from the sale of the specially packaged DVDs and are working to support the "DVDs for the Cure" collection through several channels, including the Breast Cancer 3-Day events.
The titles go pink Sept. 18 in advance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
The selection of best-selling DVDs will be available in pink packaging that includes the Susan G. Komen for the Cure logo and the pink ribbon.
"I am honored that 'Moulin Rouge' is being included in 'DVDs for the Cure' and grateful that Fox and Susan G. Komen for the Cure are doing so much to raise awareness about breast cancer," said Nicole Kidman, the film's female lead.
