First home buyers Grant

We have here in Australia a scheme called the First Home buyers Grant. We received this grant when we first bought our first home. If it is your first home the Government grants you a $7000 first home buyers upfront money. The grant is not available on vacant land though only on a home. There is no tax payable on this money and it can be used for some of the deposit on the home. It is a real help for your first home.
