Do Your Research!

I think an important investment tip for people out there is to do your research.

You have to get out there and read, read, read. Read books about investing, read articles about companies you are considering investing in, read the company's own reports, listen to their conference calls.

Jim Cramer of Mad Money calls it homework and he is right. Don't buy and hold, buy and do your homework!
