How do i advertise about my new business?

Setting up a new business, of providing repair facility for laptops and PCs, printers, faxes.

How do i advertise or promote it?
newspaper ads don't help much, thats what i feel.

You can advertise about it on website,TV and newspaper.As i know if you are advertise on website,you product could reach well to the public.

I should say if you're running this business, advertise on local newspaper is a must. Unless you have the manpower all over the world.

Try to make your Ads look more creative and eye-catching in the newspaper.
You can hire a local advertising firm to print and distribute leaflet. They normally charge based on per sheet.

You can try posting on various tech blogs and other forums if they allow advertising. Try making a blogspot of something.

I think for your type of business your best route of advertising is going to be word of mouth. Everytime you have a customer give them 5 or 10 business cards to hand out to friends, even try to see if any offices will allow you to hand out business cards, and place flyers on bulletin boards whereever you can, colleges, laundry mat, convenience stores. By doing that things should pick up nicely for you.
