Just wondering how many members here are actively invovled in buy-sell of stocks.

First , you have to choose the fund you want to invest in. You can get information about fund houses and the types of funds they offer from newspaper, magazines, and websites.
Second, after choosing the fund, you need to get the application forms, which will be available with banks, financial advisors and brokers who sell mutual funds. You can also download the forms from the funds' website.
Third, submit the form along with the cheque for your investment amount to your nearest collection centre, the list of which will be on the application form.
