Recently at the Mobile World Congress(MWC 2013) earlier this year, the new Ideapad A1000 was launched by Lenovo. Available at a reasonable price, this new Ideapad flaunts the voice calling feature which many of the existing Ideapads in the Indian marketplace have already been boasting off.
Lenovo has previously launched many tablets, the Ideapad tablet A2107 and Lenovo Ideapad tablet Lynx K3011, the A1000 would be the latest addition to the already existing Ideapads. Currently Lenovo Ideapad A1000 is available for Rs 8,999 at the company's online store.

-The tablet runs on the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system and a dual core MediaTek 8317 processor.
-The clock speed of the processor is 1.2GHz.

-The tablet hides the 3,500mAH battery at the back of the A1000. The battery would deliver a battery life of 8 hrs, claims the company.
-The Ideapad comes with a single 0.3MP(VGA) front facing camera that is placed right above the display.

-It has large, dual front-facing speakers that would offers enhanced audio experience for music or movies along with Dolby Digital Plus support.

This Ideapad is a best buy for people who prefer large smartphones instead of the regular ones. Featuring as a tablet, this Ideapad also has voice calling capabilities. The tablet originally works on 1GB DDR2RAM, features 4GB of onboard memory (Internal).
It may seem a little tight considering the storage space available, but the tablet offers the users an additional micro SD slot with a maximum of 32 GB allowable space. This additional storage space availability will be able to cater for all the entertainment content the users would want to store.
Lenovo Ideapad A1000- Competition:
Launching at a price of Rs8,999, Lenovo Ideapad A1000 will face severe competition from Asus MemoPad priced at Rs. 7,999, Acer Iconia B1 at Rs. 9250, Micromax Funbook Talk available at Rs. 6,800 and iberry Auxus AX03G priced at Rs. 8,499.
Lenovo has surpassed HP to become the would's largest PC vendor yet again, according to the Gartner's survey. It has regained the spot which it had been holding for a long time in the past.
The company is soon showing the "Out of Stock" sign for the Lenovo Ideapad A1000, is it likely to be out of stock so soon or is it company's way of telling what the future has to offer. The tablet can be purchased at company's online store for a price of Rs8,999. Currently online retail companies like FlipKart is also accepting only pre orders for the Ideapad.
