One of the largest carmakers in India, Maruti Suzuki, is set to unleash an overhauled version of its mid-size sedan, the SX4.
The sales of the SX4 model never really picked up, so the company is working on giving it a serious facelift to bring it into contention with the likes of Skoda Rapid, Nissan Sunny and Volkswagen Vento.
A test mule SX4 was spotted in Gujarat recently and it has sparked a new round of speculations over its inherent features. The early bird to catch a glimpse of redesigned SX4 noted a few things about it - a beefed up bumper, a new honeycomb mesh design, and new chrome studded grille.
As of now, nothing is known about the interiors of the new SX4. However, experts do not expect many changes in the interior or other technical specifications. The SX4 is offered in CNG, petrol and diesel variants.
