Apple distributors will shed the wraps off from the iphones for the Indian market on November. Delayed by a week, the price long kept hidden has been revealed as 45,500 Rs.
The two main distributors for Apple products in India, Redington and Ingram Micro are aiming an overwhelming response synonym to what the device garnered in the west earlier this year.
The prices have been shared by Redington as 45,500 for the base design that holds 16GB storage. Bigger storage designs, 32GB and 64GB will be made available at 52,500 and 59,500.
Ingram, the other Apple India retailer, confirmed the launch date of 2 November here. Subsequent to the brimming demand for the device overseas, limited stock has been kept reserved for India. India though still not on Apple's list of targeted market.
Online retailers like Infibeam and Sahonic have been accepting pre-orders for the device. Charging a 5000 bucks additional to the price, they assure delivery by 4th November.
Sahonic has listed only the 16GB base design at 45,500.
Key features of the iPhone are: a 4 inch screen with a higher screen resolution of 1136×640 pixel which comes to around 326 ppi. That’s Retina Display quality for you.
The iPhone5 has the dual-core A6 chip, an 8 megapixel rear camera with a sapphire crystal lens cover for ‘clearer pictures’ and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. The dock connector is now called Lightning, and is an eight-pin plug.
