AT&T has announced its fastest HSPA+ smartphone, Samsung Infuse 4G. The slim Android beauty will adorn the company-owned stores in less than a week and can be yours at a modest price of $199.
Packed in a frame 8.99 thick, Samsung tags its new sensation as the "world's thinnest" smartphone.
Infuse 4G features
The Infuse sports the largest AT&T display with a brilliant next-generation 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus touchscreen which has 50 percent more sub-pixels for better contrast and outdoor readability.
Though it will runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) Operating System, consumers can anticipate the Android Gingerbread update pretty soon.
The smartphone is powered by a 1.2-GHz Hummingbird Processor and features16 GB of internal storage capacity.

Quite aptly, the Infuse 4G is fit to use HSDPA CAT 14 and HSUPA CAT 6 bands that would allow data download at speeds of up to 21Mbps.

Other features include Wi-Fi Bluetooth and a virtual QWERTY keyboard.
There are also pre-installed applications like Samsung Media Hub, U-verse Mobile and U-verse Live TV for watching movies and TV shows.
Considering the Infuse dons just a microUSB connection, Samsung ships it with an HDMI adapter. This way users can plug and play on a big-screen TV. Further, Samsung’s AllShare DLNA app would allow wireless content streaming as well.
The device comes with a 2GB MicroSD card with preloaded trailers of forthcoming summer flicks. It would provide expandable memory of up to 32GB.
