Reese Witherspoon marries Jim Toth

After a three-month engagement and a year of dating, the couple got married in a romantic sunset ceremony at Witherspoon’s sprawling seven acre ranch estate in Ojai valley.

Dressed in a gown custom-designed by Monique Lhuillier, Reese walked down the aisle to 'Here Comes the Bride' song with her best friend Heather Rosenfield, as her maid of honor and her two children Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7 following behind her.

Toth made his entry with the rest of the wedding guests to the music of 'Tennessee Waltz.'

The happy couple exchanged custom wedding bands from jeweler William Goldberg in a 20-minute ceremony presided over by Reverend Jimmy Bartz.

The wedding, a low-key private affair with tight security, took place under white tents and featured a Southern theme.

The ranch was enveloped with white flowers and gleaming candles. To add a special touch to the occasion, the sky was filled with a blanket of 80 white doves that were released immediately after the ceremony.

Joining the couple were around 120 guests including celebrities like Scarlett Johansson, Sean Penn, Renee Zellweger, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr., Alyssa Milano, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves.

Second marriage for Reese
This is the first marriage for Jim and the second for Reese. She was previously married to Ryan Phillippe. Reese and the father of her two children, Ryan Phillippe divorced in 2007 after 7 years of marriage.

She then had a long and volatile relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal, but split with him in 2009. The pair got together while filming 'Rendition.'

Reese and Jim started dating in early 2010 and in late December got engaged to Toth when he proposed to her with a huge 250k four-carat diamond.

Speaking earlier of her relationship with Toth, Reese had stated, “I don’t want to disparage any of the other relationships that I’ve had that were meaningful and wonderful. But what I’m finding out is that it’s very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn’t do what I do.”

“I’m really, really lucky. I’ve got a lot of love in my life,” she added. “I’ve got great friends. I have two great kids whom I make pancakes for every Sunday. I’m very blessed.”

Witherspoon is well known for movies such as 'Legally Blonde.' She won an Oscar for the 2005 film 'Walk the Line.'

She recently filmed in 'Water for Elephants' with 'Twilight' actor Robert Pattinson and 'This Means War' with Chris Pine and E! talk show host Chelsea Handler.
