Hulk Hogan weds amid brawl, gun threat

An attorney for the celebrity wrestler told The Associated Press Wednesday that the couple swapped vows Tuesday during a small, private ceremony held at at Hogan's Clearwater Beach home.

Wedding tarnished
The wrestling legend (real name: Terry Bollea) was in the middle of marrying his girlfriend when the occasion suddenly turned chaotic as a scuffle broke up between a photographer and Hogan's bodyguards.

TMZ reports that cops were called to Hulk's backyard at his Clearwater spread when the incident occurred in the middle of the nuptials.

At one point during the fight, the photographer allegedly put his forearm on the employee's throat.

What led to the brawl?
According to the website, the brawl ensued after a photographer tried to capture shots of the former pro wrester and his bride-to-be Jennifer McDaniel, who were in the middle of their nuptials.

TMZ has learned that a family employee asked the photographer to leave, and then the scuffle broke out when Hulk and Jennifer were saying their vows.

At one point during the fight the photographer allegedly put his forearm on the employee's throat.

"Hulk's security team was in the background throwing around the paparazzi who was standing 200 feet away in the shoreline water," a source told RadarOnline.com. "The paparazzo wants charges filed and plans to sue for physical, financial and emotional distress."

No one arrested
Some media outlets are reporting that the photographer filed a complaint with the Clearwater police, alleging assault, battery and destruction of property.

However, TMZ reports that the two parties agreed to stop altercation after police interfered, and no arrest was made as no one wanted to file charges, and the wedding continued.

"Yes, police came to the scene but we have no details to report yet," a Clearwater police spokesperson tells People. "The officer who answered the call has not written up his report. We have no further comment at this time."

Hulk’s past wedding life
It is the second marriage for Hogan. He was previously married to Linda Bollea. The two split in 2007 after 23 years of marriage. That same year in November, the blonde mom of their kids Brooke and Nick filed for divorce from her wrestling superstar hubby.

In her filing, Linda alleged that Hulk had an affair. In turn, the wrestler accused her of drug abuse.

After months of contentious court dates and bitter feuding, Hulk and Linda put an end to their troubled marriage by reaching a divorce settlement last year.
