Miley Cyrus in another scandal: Caught smoking bong

A video is taking round all over the web showing the teen queen smoking from a bong allegedly containing the herb salvia, which is legal in California but can cause hallucinations.

The video first posted on website TMZ on Friday, soon went viral on the internet, with several gossip and entertainment websites showing the footage of Miley puffing on the huge pipe.

It is believed the video was shot at a party in Los Angeles hosted by 'Hannah Montana' star in late November, just days after her birthday.

According to MTV, the home video was reportedly stolen from a phone belonging to a friend.

Meanwhile, Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus is disappointed with the release of now widely-circulated video showing his daughter purportedly taking a bong hit of the herb salvia.

What the video shows?
In the massively circulated footage, the singer and actress daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus is seen inhaling huge lungfuls of smoke from a bong, before telling friends about her off-and-on boyfriend Liam Hemsworth look-alike in the room and giggling a lot.

In the video footage, a friend lights the pipe and tells Miley to "Hold it! Hold it!" as she takes a big gulp from a bong, and starts babbling: "Oh I'm gonna lose it now... I'm going. Having a little bit of a bad trip!

At one point in the video, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer mistakenly identifies a man nearby as her off-and-on beau Hemsworth, MTV reports.

Telling the friends that a guy in the room looks a lot like Liam, Miley can be heard saying: "Is that a f***ing Liam lookalike or what the hell is that? Is that my boyfriend? Is that my boyfriend? Oh my God, he looks so much like Liam,” Miley says. “Is it me tripping? Is it me tripping? Does that look like Liam at all?'”

"Is it me tripping? Is it me tripping?" she asks one of her friends, before breaking down in laughter.

It’s being reported that the teen superstar was not smoking marijuana but the herb salvia, possession of which is legal in California and which but which has psychedelic qualities.

Meanwhile, Miley’s father Billy Ray Cyrus is disappointed with the release of now widely-circulated video showing his daughter purportedly taking a bong hit of the herb salvia.

Cyrus, who is still in the midst of his divorce from wife Tish, took to his Twitter account Friday to speak about the video.

"Sorry guys," he tweeted, “I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself."

"I'm so sad. There is much beyond my control right now."

The video is the latest in a series of incidents in which Cyrus has made every effort to shed her doll-like image.

In her attempts to break free of her Disney Channel chains, she’s frequently facing criticism for her racy outfits, onstage antics and provocative photos and dance moves.

She is famously known to indulge in things considered too bold for her age lately.
