The U.S. rapper showed off his new bling-bling chompers Tuesday during his appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show, according to media reports.

According to Entertainment Weekly report, West, who loves to do everything in style, has had his bottom row of teeth removed and replaced with gold and diamond front teeth.
The rapper, who uses private jet for traveling, holidays on a luxury yacht and dates beautiful models, showed off the sparkling diamond and gold implants to the chat show host Ellen during the show, insisting that his dental jewelery is real.
"I just thought that diamonds were cooler," the rap superstar told Ellen. "It's just something that rock stars are supposed to do."
West, who is currently busy in promoting his new album, 'My Beautiful
Dark Twisted Fantasy' also talked about his disappearance following the "Taylor Swift incident" at the 2009 Video Music Awards during the interview on 'Ellen.'
Real or grill?
However, a fascinated Ellen then asked the star if his dental jewelery is snapped over his real teeth and is removable, to which the rapper explained the diamonds are not removable but an actual implant.
“You just put it on top of your teeth?” asked the host.
“No,” the entertainer replied.
“It’s not a grill?” asked a shocking Ellen. "You've ripped all those teeth out and put in that?" Ellen asked.
"It's really my real teeth," he replied. "It's replaced my bottom row of teeth."
"You can't floss," Ellen joked. "Wow, so now you just get food stuck in your diamonds!"
On his disappearance following "the Taylor Swift incident"
West, who is currently busy in promoting his new album, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' also talked about his disappearance following the "Taylor Swift incident" at the 2009 Video Music Awards during the interview on “Ellen,” according to New York Daily News.
"It's a pretty bugged out story," West recounted. "I literally left America, I stopped doing music altogether. I went to Japan just so I could get away from paparazzi altogether. And then in November I moved to Rome ... When I came back to the States, I moved to Hawaii and just lived there and worked on music."
The break was "the first time I got to stop since my mom had passed" and "the first time I stopped since I made it, since I started," he added.
"Just for your whole world to completely crash off a moment of sincerity of alcohol or whatever it is, to lose..." the rapper continued.
On his short film
On 'Ellen,' West also talked about his upcoming mini-movie 'Runaway'. The surreal 35-minute tale shows the rap superstar falling in love with a mythical phoenix played by model Selita Ebanks.
West’s 'Runaway' short film will air on MTV, MTV2, and BET this Saturday at 8 P.M., and his latest album 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy' is due to release on Nov. 22.
