DWTS elimination: Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino gets the boot

Sorrentino and professional partner Karina Smirnoff became the fourth couple eliminated from the show after receiving the lowest score on Monday.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino became the latest contestant booted from 'Dancing With The Stars.' The reality star with the chiseled abs was eliminated from Season 11 of the dance competition in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Sorrentino and professional partner Karina Smirnoff became the fourth couple eliminated from the show after receiving the lowest score on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010.

Scored lowest points
The 28-year-old 'Jersey Shore' star and his pro partner performed Argentine Tango Monday night but scored the lowest from the judges who gave them 28 out of 60- 12/30 for technique and 16/30 for performance.

Apparently not happy with the judges’ comments, the reality TV personality Sorrentino was seen sulking in the parking lot after the performance, smoking cigarette and shaking his head over the score he received from judges, reports Us.

Judge Bruno Tonioli called Sorrentino’s tango performance on a rendition of Eurythmics' 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)' "a terrible mess," while Carrie Ann Inaba said it was a "rough ride," reports UsMagazine.com.

"It was consistent," said head judge Len Goodman. "It was bad throughout."

Unhappy with the score
Apparently not happy with the judges’ comments, the reality TV personality Sorrentino was seen sulking in the parking lot after the performance, smoking cigarette and shaking his head over the score he received from judges, reports Us.

He later told the magazine, "I don't know what their deal was. I really don't know. I was upset. I actually stormed off upset because I tried so hard. I really did. I changed my haircut, I don't know."

He continued, "Once I landed all those lifts and the judges were trashing me? I'll be honest with you, it was in one ear and out the other."

'The Situation' dismissed
On Tuesday, Sorrentino and his pro partner Smirnoff learned that they would not be through to the next round, reports The Associated Press.

Upon learning his fate at the end of this season's fourth elimination episode, a visibly frustrated Sorrentino said, "You know what? I told myself if I got eliminated today, I put it all on the floor last night."

He added, "I tried my best and at the end of the day somebody's got to go home. If I made it to the fourth round, I did my best, I guess. ...I'm not a dancer... It's definitely hard and at the same time, on 'Jersey Shore' you saw a little keyhole of who I am. On 'Dancing with the Stars', you got to see the whole Situation."

"So if it (happened), I'd bow out gracefully."

Smirnoff added, "It's sad that we left so early. I think he had so much more in him to develop and improve and come out of the shell, but what's done is done and now we're able to concentrate on other projects we've got going on."

Remaining dancing stars
Sorrentino is the fourth contestant eliminated from this season of 'Dancing' following comedian Margaret Cho's ouster last week.

Still in the running for the coveted mirror ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are actors Grey, Kyle Massey and Florence Henderson; singer-actress Randy; athletes Kurt Warner and Rick Fox; reality star Audrina Patridge; and Bristol Palin.

Sorrentino joins previously eliminated contestants David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton and Margaret Cho.
