'Idol' star Crystal Bowersox marries fiance Brian Walker

This is the first marriage for Bowersox. She was previously romantically linked to Tony Kusian, whom she dated during her 'Idol' days.
After a whirlwind romance and brief engagement, 'Idol' star Crystal Bowersox has married her long-time musician friend and fiance Sunday in Chicago, a rep for the singer told People magazine.
Bowersox, who broke up with the father of her 18-month-old just hours before the Season 9 of 'American Idol' finale in May, chose 10-10-10 as her big day.

The 25-year-old Ohio-native tied the knot with her fiance, Brian Walker, at a ceremony in Chicago attended by 60 family and friends.
"Our lives have never made more sense than they do right now,” Bowersox tells People. “I can't believe how incredibly lucky we are to have found so much laughter, love, and light within each other. We're one happy WalkerSox family."
The couple, who announced their engagement in September, exchanged rings that were designed by Walker and crafted by Chicago’s Traci Coughlin and Steve Quick Jewelers.

The bride strolled down the aisle wearing an Earth-friendly hemp and cotton gown from Vermont designer Tara Lynn, reports the celebrity magazine’s website.

According to the site, the ceremony, which was held at the Chicago club where the couple met six years ago and became good friends, was attended by Bowersox's son Tony, who served as ring bearer and wore a suit by LinenKids; Season 9 Idol contestant Didi Benami; and 'It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia' actor Lance Barber.

Meanwhile E! News has reported that the singer took to her Twitter account post-wedding to announce her big day.
"Officially mamasox!!!" she tweeted. "I mean walkersox!!! Hahaha that's hilarious. :)"

But duo's romantic days could not last long, and the two called its quits, just hours before the 'Idol' finale on May 25 this year.
Earlier this month, the singer told OnTheRedCarpet.com she plans to release her debut album in December.
"I'm recording in New York and everything is going well," she told the publication. "I am really excited. A lot of orginals on there. I think I've only got three songs that aren't mine. I'm all about the artists writing the songs."
