Kelsey Grammer's girlfriend miscarries just weeks after revealing pregnancy

Confirming the miscarriage, the American star and his girlfriend of three months told the UsMagazine that they lost the baby some six weeks ago.

"We would like to thank all of those who expressed kindness and concern but we needed a little time to heal, time to find some solace before we publicly acknowledged our loss," the couple's statement read.

Confirmed relationship reports
Reportedly Grammer has been seeing Walsh, a 29-year-old flight attendant for Virgin Atlantic Airways, since July. But it was only after filing for divorce from his wife of 13 years, Camille Donatacci, Grammer confirmed reports about his new relationship.

'The Simpsons' star and his new galpal Kayte, had come out in open in mid August announcing that they were seeing each other and expecting their first baby together.

Not only the duo accepted the pregnancy reports, they were also seen shopping for condos in New York City.

Also, last month, the 55-year-old 'Frasier' actor expressed his happiness at the 'The Romantics film' premiere in New York, claiming, “We are really happy and in love.”

Condolences offered
The couple, who is still in love, is definitely not happy after the recent tragedy. With the duo grieving over the loss of their baby, many of Grammer's fans, and others concerned, have to blogs and forums, offering condolences.

For instance, a person named Kerpwnd took to his Twitter feed stating, “That's sad," that Kelsey Grammar and girlfriend Kayte Walsh have lost their baby.

Wishing the couple well, a person named Djlaysitup commented on The Huffington Post, “Kayte and Kelsey have my sympathy...”

Likewise another person named happycat commented on the same site, “That is a terrible and painful thing to go through. I might not agree with Kelsey's politics, but he is one talented guy. I wish he and his girlfriend peace.”

Actor's past marriages and divorces
This would have been fifth child for Grammer, who already has four children from his past marriages.

Grammer has married and divorced several times. His first marriage to dance instructor Doreen Alderman in 1982, lasted 8 years. The couple had a daughter Spencer together, who is now 26.

In 1992 he married stripper Leigh-Anne Csuhany. The marriage only lasted one year. While still married to Csuhany, Grammer fathered a daughter with stylist Barrie Buckner.

Grammer married Camille, a former Playboy model in 1997, from whom he has filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for split.

They are parents to daughter Mason, 8, and son Jude, 5, both born to a surrogate mother.
