Lindsay walks back to rehab

Lindsay back in rehab but this time voluntarily. Lohan was sentenced to prison and rehabilitation this summer for probation violations but she succeeded in getting out early from the prison and rehab.

Lindsay Lohan is reported to have signed in to a rehabilitation center in southern California on Tuesday.

Reports also say that she plans to stay in the facility until her next appearance in the on Oct. 22.

The starlet was not ordered by the Court to go back to rehab, but this is something she did voluntarily. Perhaps her lawyer advised her to do so.

Lohan out of jail
Beverly Hills Court house Judge, Elden S. Fox had denied bail to the starlet after she was found violating terms of her probation by failing a drug test.

It was due to the frantic efforts of her lawyer, Shaun Chapman Holley, who appealed to the decision before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge, Patricia M. Schnegg, who reversed Judge Fox's decision.

Judge Schnegg said that as the celebrity is convicted of misdemeanors, she is entitled to bail.

According to Steve Whitmore, Spokesman of the LA County Sheriff’s Department, Lohan was released late night at 11.40 p.m. on $300,000 bail.

Troubles started after DUI conviction
Lohan's problems started after she was convicted in 2007 for drunk-driving and cocaine possession. Since then the starlet has been in trouble for violating the terms of her probation many times.

Lohan was sentenced to prison and rehabilitation this summer for probation violations but she succeeded in getting out early from the prison and rehab.

Conditions of bail
Several conditions have been imposed on Lohan as a part of the conditions of her bail.

An alcohol monitoring device SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring) will be put on her body within twenty four hours of her release.

Lohan is also ordered to stay away from places where “users or buyers congregate” except in an “authorized” treatment program.

The actress has been restrained from drinking alcohol and being present at places where alcohol is the main beverage sold.

No comments from lawyer
Several news agencies failed to seek comments of her lawyer.

Lohan already had three spells in rehab in 2007 after admitting she was addicted to alcohol and drugs.

Affect on career
Despite her release on Friday, Lohan's continual troubles with the law have already started having an affect on her career.

She has been casted as Linda Lovelace in a biopic about the porn star, but the production schedule had already been altered when Lohan was sent to jail in July.

In an e-mail sent before Lohan was granted bail, Matthew Wilder, the writer-director of the film titled ‘Inferno’, stated that the film's producers wanted her to do well but did not comment on whether Lohan's role would be recast or the film delayed further.

Next hearing
On the next hearing on Oct. 22, Judge Fox, who sent her to jail, will determine whether Lohan has violated her probation.

Lohan failed the test after the judge released Lohan early from Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center rehab.
