Before going under the red light Tuesday, Bolton spoke about Tonioli’s remarks backstage, saying, “Last night, I think Bruno [Tonioli] was inappropriate and disrespectful.”
As speculated Michael Bolton didn’t survive 'Dancing's' elimination. He got eliminated from Season 11 of 'Dancing with the Stars' in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Grammy-award winning singer got the boot from the hit dancing competition after drawing the lowest score on Monday's performance show.
Worst performance
The 57-year-old American singer-songwriter Bolton and his pro dancing partner Cheslie Hightower scored 12 points out of 30 on their wretched jive to 'Ain’t Nothing But a Hound Dog.'
Judge Bruno Tonioli told the celebrity dancer on Monday that his quickstep was "probably the worst" he'd seen in the show's history, and then given Bolton only three points for his effort.
Soon after learning their fate, the singer gave Chelsie a hug and said "sorry."
Bolton shot back at Bruno
Before going under the red light Tuesday, Bolton spoke about Tonioli’s remarks backstage, saying, “Last night, I think Bruno [Tonioli] was inappropriate and disrespectful.”
"Other than that, it was a phenomenal, phenomenal experience, up to now. And I'm ready for the next one."
Got the axe
After doing so terrible Monday night, Bolton was eliminated from the 'Dancing' during its second week of competition.
Soon after learning their fate, the singer gave Chelsie a hug and said "sorry."
The singer-songwriter admitted he was shocked with his elimination, saying, "Yeah. Yeah, I'm disappointed… Chelsie's been awesome and I wanted her to go on and on as well."
"Michael is such a genuine person," Chelsie said, adding to her partner, "and it was honestly such an honor to work with you."
As of the elimination, Chelsie added, "It's tough. It's hard that we had to leave the way we did. We both so badly wish we could have come back next week and done a better job, and we would have. It's just sad that we couldn't come back."
Remaining dancing stars
Bolton is the second contestant eliminated from this season of 'Dancing' following actor/singer David Haselhoff's ouster last week.
Still in the running for the coveted mirror ball trophy, along with their professional dance partners, are be actors Grey, Kyle Massey and Florence Henderson; singer-actress
Brandy; athletes Kurt Warner and Rick Fox; comedian Margaret Cho; reality stars Audrina Patridge and Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino; and Bristol Palin.
Tuesday’s action-packed elimination episode also featured performances by singers Seal and Janelle Monae and a dance performance that featured contortionists, aerialists and a ballerina.
