Bieber is bringing more for his fans by exploring other entertainment options beyond music.

Justin Bieber drives 3 percent of total traffic on twitter, a designer at the micro-blogging site revealed on Tuesday.

The impact of the 16-year-old singer on American society was, till now, being gauged by the platinum record sales of his albums, sold-out shows, screaming fans wherever he went, his dominance on You Tube, but the latest eye-opener about his popularity has come from twitter, the famous celebrity domain.

“At any moment, Justin Bieber uses 3 percent of our infrastructure. Racks of servers are dedicated to him,” Dustin Curtis, a designer who works at the micro-blogging service, said through a tweet.

Bieber, with more than 5 million followers on the site, is often the trending topic on twitter.

The tweet was no casual joke; Curtis had confirmed it directly from other twitter employee, reported Tech blog Gizmodo.

He revealed that “most of the popular users on Twitter have dedicated servers for their accounts.”

However, this piece of information should not come as a surprise since Bieber, with more than 5 million followers on the site, is often the trending topic on twitter.

Even though the Canadian singing sensation is a frequent trending topic, Gizmodo noted that Twitter gets some 180 million unique visitors each month, considering which, his 3 percent hold becomes even more impressive.

Meanwhile, Bieber is bringing more for his fans by exploring other entertainment options beyond music. CSI is looking to tap on the singer’s popularity and with the release of their Justin-starrer promo, the hit CBS procedural has already left the viewers in anticipation.

The promo features shots of screaming girls and Bieber in his ‘Baby’ music video, followed by a voiceover that says, “He's made millions of fans cry tears of joy…” then the shot becomes somewhat serious, showing Bieber behind bars with a guard falling to the ground outside his cell. And the voiceover says, “But this fall on 'CSI,' Justin Bieber will make you scream!”

“It seems like I'm this sweet and innocent kid, and then it turns out I'm the mastermind behind everything,” the singing sensation told Teen Vogue about his upcoming small-screen appearance, scheduled for September 23.

In the magazine, Bieber also said that if given an option to choose his leading lady for any future role, he would like to have Selena Gomez opposite him. “She's a good buddy of mine,” he explained. “She's really nice.”
