Justin Bieber uses Twitter to take revenge on teen

Though the 16-year-old singer soon deleted the post from his account, it was too late to undo the damage.

Did Detroit teen Kevin Kristopik anticipate the consequences of messing up with pop sensation Justin Bieber? Definitely he didn't.

In a retaliatory act that came as a shock to 15-year-old boy, the Canadian pop star tweeted Kristopik's contact number to his 4.5 million followers Saturday.

Claiming that it was his personal number, Justin took to his Twitter feed saying, “everyone call me 248-***-**** :) or text.”

Kristopik falls victim to Justin's revenge
Though the 16-year-old singer soon deleted the post from his account, it was too late to undo the damage.

Within minutes, thousands of Bieber fans had already re-tweeted his tweet, thus circulating Kevin's contact number.

What followed next was non stop calls, and text messages to Kristopik. So much was the harassment, that the Bloomfield Township resident was forced to change his number and delete his Twitter account.

Before deleting his account, Kevin reportedly tweeted, “Thanks for giving out my # @justinbieber.”

Though Justin's fans might have taken the prank in good humor, not everyone seems to be amused. Calling Justin's act invasion of privacy, a person named vickinoble posted a comment under the YouTube video, “The retaliation is very immature and I think that Justin Beiber is a stupid little cock and needs to grow up.”

Tit for tat to Kevin
Wondering what led the 'Baby,' singer to do all this? According to a report by freep.com, Kevin tracked down Ryan Butler, Justin's friend, to get singer's number.

After uncovering the number, Kevin, like all crazy fans would do, started texting the teen star.

A few weeks back Kristopik had even acknowledged via his tweet, “im the one who hacked ryan and got justins #.”

Though it is just a case of a crazy fan trying to reach a celebrity, it only ended up annoying Justin, who, to take revenge, used his celebrity status and made Kevin's number public.

A video titled 'This is what happens when Justin Bieber tweets your phone number to 4.5 million followers,' showing Kristopik receive calls, and text relentlessly, has been uploaded on YouTube.

The video, possibly posted by Kevin's friend, also carries a note, requesting viewers not to call the numbers being displayed in the video. “Also, please stop telling me I deserved it. I am not Kevin.”

Reactions to Justin's tweet
After Justin's Twitter message, hundreds of his fans took to the micro-blogging site, reacting to his tweet.

A fan named oliveamae reacted saying, “i called it a few seconds after you posted the number, and the inbox is already full! hahaha whose number was that?”

While one fan named athens657483: tweeted, “@justinbieber haha i dont know if i should believe you ;), another named mollycoodle32 expressed sadness saying that he didn't answer when she called.
