Aniston: we do have so many options
‘The Switch’ shows Aniston in the role of a single woman, Kassie, who opts for artificial insemination to have a baby. Jason Bateman plays her best friend, Wally, who is in love with her and switches the sperm donor’s sperm with his own, while he’s drunk.

Aniston appreciates her character’s pick.

“Women are realizing it more and more - knowing that they don't have to settle with a man just to have that child,” she said during a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

“Times have changed and what is amazing is that we do have so many options these days, as opposed to our parents' days when you can't have children because you have waited too long.”

Aniston wants to be a mother, but no sperm donors required
The 41-year-old actress has always been asked about marriage and motherhood. After her high-profile divorce with Brad Pitt in 2005, Aniston has been linked with several men, but neither marriage, nor motherhood happened for her.

Asked if she still wants to be a mother, Aniston said: “Yeah, I have said it years before and I still say it today.”

But unlike Kassie, she is not looking to go for the “turkey baster” method. “I don't have plans on that, no,” she said jokingly.

The Switch breaks society’s idea of a family
According to People, Aniston likes the way the movie breaks the idea of a conventional family, with “the traditional mother, father, two children and a dog named Spot.”

“Love is love and family is what is around you and who is in your immediate sphere. That is what I love about this movie. It is saying it is not the traditional sort of stereotype of what we have been taught as a society of what family is.”
