Lady Gaga says she avoids sleeping with men because she feels it might drain her creativity.
After creating a buzz with her loud protests against the immigration law in Arizona, Lady Gaga is ready with her next big stunt. The singer, famous for her quirky, unconventional style, agreed to shed her clothes for the cover of Vanity Fair.
The pop supernova appears on the cover of the magazine's September issue, donning nothing more than a long gray wig, a diamond choker and a subtle grin.
Naked came…Lady Gaga
She sports a peace sign and gallantly discusses several personal issues in the magazine, which will hit the newsstands on Wednesday.
“Naked came the world's #1 pop star. Who is she? Why is she? Should you worry?” reads the caption accompanying the photo, which was clicked by Nick Knight.
Gaga claims she is lonely even when she’s with people, and that, she says, is the essence of her art.
Sex will drain her creative energy?
True to her bold style, the popstar makes a startling confession about her sex life. Gaga says she avoids sleeping with men because she feels it might drain her creativity. “I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they're going to take my creativity from me through my ...”
Gaga does not lament her recent encounter at the Yankee Stadium; she is rather upfront about it. “Of course I got drunk at Yankee Stadium,” she said, adding that she was her “true New York 24-year-old Italian girl” that night.
“Why would I rub my t--s in front of Yankees?” she said. “I'm not interested in dating any ballplayers.”
Lady Gaga is ever lonely
Gaga claims she is lonely even when she’s with people, and that, she says, is the essence of her art. “I'm perpetually lonely. I'm lonely when I'm in relationships. It's my condition as an artist,” said the pop diva, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta.
She does drugs
Openly admitting her past association with drugs, the singer says that she is “terrified of heroin” but still does “mostly cocaine.”
“I won't lie; it's occasional,” she says. “And when I say occasional, I mean maybe a couple of times a year.”
However, the 24-year-old singer warns her fans to not follow her awful actions. “I don't want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It's in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster.”
Gaga’s granny got her back on track
The popstar also reveals how she lost control of her life and thought it was all over for her, and went to her grandmother’s home instead of going to a rehab. Gaga’s Granny consoled her super-talented granddaughter, and told her to get back on track.
“You're gonna stop crying, you're gonna pick yourself up, you're gonna go back to New York, and you're gonna kick some a--,” said the 82-year-old.
Despite all the controversies she creates, Gaga is sure it will not affect her fans because they know the real her. “They know what I represent and what I mean, and my music and my performance is what really speaks,” she said.
