Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are arguably the most high-profile celebrity couple in the world, but they refuse to lose their personal lives in their glitzy world. Insisting they are a just a normal couple, who likes to be at home and spend time with their family, Angelina describes herself and Brad as “Mommy and Daddy in our pajamas.”
In an interview with the new issue of Parade magazine, Jolie gives us a glimpse of her domestic life. “He takes the kids to school; he visits me on set with the kids,” she said of her longtime partner Brad Pitt. “I’m home for dinner, or I’m there for breakfast. We’re together all the time.”
Marriage is not important, staying connected is
Though celebrity relationships make and break in no time, the Jolie-Pitt bond has made a mark with its profound intensity that has grown over the years. They started dating in 2005, and are going strong after five years of being together.
However, they did not marry, reasoning that they are already living like a married couple and they do not consider a ceremony to be imperative.

They must definitely know the secret to a strong relationship; according to Jolie its staying connected.
Despite their glamorous lifestyles and hectic schedules, Pitt and Jolie always make and effort to be with each other.

“There's never a period when Brad and I are pulled apart. We are not separated for more than three days, ever,” Jolie tells Parade. “We stay really connected. We actually don't go out much. It's funny. We're very homebound.”

The parents of six kids admit that the children “tie us together,” but Jolie says their love for each other is important too.
“A relationship won't hold if it's only about the kids,” she said. “You also must be really interested in each other and have a really, really wonderful, exciting time together. We do. Brad and I love being together. We enjoy it. We need it, and we always find that special time.”

Angelina further adds that Brad and her kids know her in and out, and love her with all her imperfections. "Brad knows me completely, exactly as I am, every part of me. He loves me,” she gushed to the magazine. “The kids love me. They know all my flaws and all my oddities. And they accept them. And so I can feel complete."
